meet me

From crawling up a pile of tires to snag that perfect picture to planning fancy corporate cocktail parties - I have a rather untraditional marketing background. I got my official start at one of the coolest non-profits in the area, Living Lands & Waters. I ran all lines of social media, wrote press releases, managed media efforts, coordinated lots and lots of events, and led all their graphic design projects. Lots of hats meant lots of learning, and I'm forever grateful for the adventures that I had there. I jumped the nest back in 2017 to test out my skills in the corporate world, where I've been ever since. Office furniture, restaurants, hotels - no matter the industry, my passion for marketing has stayed strong throughout.

On a more personal note, I'm a new mom, a fur mom, and a wife. My husband is my best friend and biggest supporter. I consider myself an introvert but don't tempt me with a good debate about the Oxford Comma. I love to travel, but I love coming home even more. If I'm not chewing a piece of gum, I'm probably thinking about it. When I'm anxious, I can cruise through over a pack a day. I'm not an early bird...or a night owl. You could say I'm more of a connoisseur of sleep. I love the idea of curling up with a warm cup of coffee but have yet to successfully find a coffee-based drink I don't think tastes like dirt. I naturally talk extremely fast. Or the world listens extra slow? The verdict is still out.

I run Wake in my free time, which means during my lunch hour and in the evenings after my daughter has closed her eyes. Seems a little crazy? Sometimes it is, but I wouldn't change it for the world.
